ELC is the Federation of European Food Additives, Food Enzymes and Food Cultures Industries.

It is a network of producers of many types of food additives from around Europe. Its members are all trade associations representing companies who make food additives, enzymes and cultures.

Its network of personal contacts links its members to regulatory and scientific bodies, academia and industry across the EU.

There are currently 20 members; 15 are Europe-wide associations representing producers of closely-related ingredients, 4 more are much broader groupings of additives manufacturers on a national level, and the 20th is an affiliated association in the US.
