ELC is the Federation of European Specialty Food Ingredient Industries.
It is a network of producers of many types of specialty food ingredients from around Europe. Its members are all companies and trade associations representing companies who make food additives, food enzymes, food cultures and other specialty food ingredients
There are currently 20 members; 15 are Europe-wide associations representing producers of closely-related ingredients, 4 more are much broader groupings of additive and ingredient manufacturers on a national level, and the 20th is an affiliated association in the US.
